Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Oil/ghee
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Channa dal
  • 2 Red full dry chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 6 Curry leaves (Kari patta)
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 Onions chopped
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1/2 cup Sooji
Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the pan and put oil/ghee to it.
  2. Add chana dal, mustard seeds, and groundnuts (optional). fry till dal becomes light brown in colour.
  3. Once dal becomes light brown in colour add red chillies, green chillies, Ginger(optional) and curry leaves.
  4. After frying the mixture for 1-2 minutes add onions and tomatoes.
  5. Once the mixture half fried pour water to it.
  6. After water comes to a boil. Slowly start adding sooji while stirring simultaneously.
  7. Keep boiling until 3-4mm water remains on top. After that lower the heat, add salt and cover with lid.
  8. Serve after 5 Minutes
